The Red Relationships
Honey Badger + Honey Badger
Resolute Red
When in tune, this is a very RESOLUTE relationship. Nothing can stop 2 badgers working together. They can accomplish any task they set their mind to. They work hard and play hard. This relationship has goals that will definitely be met. It may be passionate, intense and adventurous. They are not deterred by challenges, they will lock down and push through. Badgers are great visionaries, so they can easily have a lot of fun plotting their goals and dreams. Both being task oriented, external and fast processors, but also concrete thinkers, this relationship is characterized by this life in the fast lane and hard work. They say what they mean and are quick to act.
Red Rage
When dissonant, these badgers are out for blood and can be full of RAGE. They are quick tempered and may perceive anything as a challenge and are argumentative. When this happens, they tend to go straight for the jugular. Struggling to communicate in a respectful way, their conflicts get ugly FAST. They also expect the other person to “get over it” instead of apologizing or repairing the damage. They may also alienate others and damage relationships with their strong opinion and blunt communication. Badgers are so driven, if they are not working toward the same goals, it may be frustrating and they can easily get wrapped up in the tasks leaving the relationship to suffer. They may also struggle at times as both want to be the “Alpha.” Patience is not a virtue of this relationship, this impatience may be the source of some fiery conflicts. Since both are concrete thinkers, they may not be very willing to budge from their opinion. Also, their fast and external processing tendencies may result in impulsivity.
Things to Remember:
In this fiery red relationship, Badgers must make nurturing their relationships a task they stay focused on. It is also important for them to understand the need for both of them to feel empowered. They need to develop the ability and willingness to listen to others’ point of view.
