Rebecca MichkioskyMA

Rebecca Michkiosky Rebecca is very passionate about helping individuals become victorious over the struggles they face in life. Mental, emotional, and relational stress can feel extremely overwhelming and discouraging. Rebecca feels honored to enter into the restoration journey with others to help them walk into greater wholeness as well as gain what they can from their past and current circumstances.

Rebecca believes people are multi-faceted, and so her counseling approach is directed by these different parts. Some individuals may process life emotion-forward, whereas others more heavily calculate and organize life through structured thinking. Still others use relationships as their metric of stability. All of these parts, and more, are important in each person and give insight into the total wellness of that individual. Rebecca has found that CBT is an excellent approach for incorporating these various parts of life. As a Christian, she is also willing to integrate a Christian perspective in sessions per client request.

Rebecca completed her BA in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies from BIOLA University. She earned her MA in Professional Counseling through Liberty University. She works with children, adults, and couples. She has extensive experience with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anxiety-related disorders, addiction, relational conflicts, and marital issues.
