Hannah HydeMA, ALC, NCC

Under the direct supervision of Heather Lawson, LPC-S

Hannah Hyde I believe the most important aspect of counseling is the relationship and rapport between client and therapist. I believe in creating a safe, welcoming space for clients to process their emotions and begin to work through and heal from their pain.

My approach to counseling is very integrative in nature. I believe in tailoring my approach to fit the needs of the individual client. No two medications work the same for two different people, so why would one approach work for everyone? I am primarily person-centered first, but I also incorporate mindfulness, strengths based, motivational interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, and other therapies as needed for each client's unique needs. I believe in empowering clients to overcome their struggles and assist them in finding the tools that work for them in their journey. I am also open to incorporating faith-based counseling into treatment for those who wish to do so. You are the expert on your care, I am here to provide support and hold space for you as you take the first step towards healing and change.
